RSX3K6 Ultra High Vacuum Rotation Stage Demonstration Video

Watch our demonstration video for the RSX3K6 Ultra High Vacuum Rotation Stage. The UHV RSX Rotation Stage features a precision cross-roller ring bearing providing high rotational accuracy capable of bearing loads in every direction. It has a 18mm clear aperture, anti-backlash spur gearing and can optionally be fitted with an optical UHV compatible rotary encoder. This video demonstrates the RSX3K6 fitted with the optional optical rotary encoder; showing the 0.1° resolution in full steps and the 360° rotation range.

The RSX3K6 also features:

• 3,600 steps per revolution
• Maximum loaded speed of 100 rpm
• Maximum torque of 1 N⋅m

Our ultra-high vacuum compatible rotation stages are manufactured with UHV compatible material and construction methods in an ISO 7 cleanroom and utilize AML D35.1 UHV stepper motors. Our UHV mechanisms are vacuum conditioned at 200°C for 48 hours, backfilled with dry Nitrogen and vacuum packed; ready to be integrated directly into your UHV system.

As with all of AML’s products, our UHV compatible rotation stages undergo a stringent quality assurance process, ensuring that they meet AML’s high level of standard.
